After a day like this one, I immediately resulted to red wine and “Blue in Green” by Miles Davis. 

The day was long and the clothes from the week before are piled high.

But its something that can wait for yet another day, because all I want to do in lay in the arms of someone I fancy. 

I have years of conversation to be had, but no ear to listen, or maybe just not the right ear.

In this profession its hard to turn it on and off, especially being a female entertainer, you are your own boss, the king of your domain. 

But somewhere inside is this soft yet fragile soul waiting, longing, and yearning for something sincere as kiss or a I love you. A handwritten letter or coffee with the morning. To talk about the most corniest jokes, or how many times we marvel at the stupidity of dry comedy. 

I love books, and I’m sure we all know that. But the thing is no matter how many people you inspire, how many people you touch, they never know where your black hole is or which one you have crawled out of. All you can do is pray you get out. Pray that someone can see through these shimmering eyes and say, ” I fancy you and I think your beautiful”.
